To the south-east of Bodrum is the GOKOVA BAY with its numerous and spectacularly beautiful inlets, renown as a wonder of nature.
The GOCEK BAY is an exclusive yachting center and one of the best sailing spots with many small coves and islands. The FETHIYE BAY features the bustling port of Fethiye and the famous lagoon and the white sand beach of OLUDENIZ. Further to the east is the charming small town KALKAN with old Greek houses and narrow streets and the beautiful town of KAS with its Lycian tombs and amphitheater.
Magnificent KEKOVA, the center of Lycian Civilisation, is situated further east with its sunken city and the fishing village of KALEKOY featuring a beautiful ancient fortress. The small village of Ucagiz, ancient MYRA and the Saint Nicholas Church are some of the other attractions of the area.
